Louis Heyligenstaedt establishes a mechanical engineering company in Unteren Riegelpfad, Giessen.
1883
The 10,000th machine is built.
1900
The company takes part in the World Fair in Paris.
1907
The 100,000th machine is built and Heyligenstaedt now has 500 employees.
1910
Louis Heyligenstaedt dies on November 20th 1910.
1938
The first copy milling machine is presented at the Leipzig spring fair.
1951
Heyligenstaedt celebrates its 75th anniversary and its first inclined bed copy lathe; Heycomat. There are over 1000 employees.
1976
100 years of Heyligenstaedt! Administration moves to a new building in Wilhelmstrasse and there are 1520 employees.
1996
Heyligenstaedt is newly founded as Heyligenstaedt Werkzeigmachinen GmbH on the 8th of May, 1996.
1997
Heyligenstaedt acquires Ravensburg AG, a machine factory, after it goes into bankruptcy.
2000
Heyligenstaedt obtains the product rights to the Kolb Werkzeugmachinen GmbH construction program.
2001
On August 26 in 2001 the company celebrates its 125th anniversary.
2005
A new training center is opened for a total amount of 20 trainees.
2022
Heyligenstaedt becomes 100% part of the WEIMER Group.
